Hello!
It's been far too long everybody, with the release of Overtime Comics and our wedding on October 8th, it's been a very busy few months!
Don't worry though; we will always be here to bring you new comics! Speaking of comics (See what I did thar?) I wanted to update everybody on the status of Turbulence.
Everything has been drawn, colored and lettered- infact we have been going back over the pages to make sure every little tiny mark is in order! We have about 6 more of these to do (They should be done this weekend!)
From there, we await the very final piece of the comic- an insert for Defects! The cover for Defects Issue 1 is being colored, and will soon be sent to us, so that we can throw a fancy logo on it, put it inside Issue 3, and from there we will send Turbulence Issue 3 to the printer!
Once it hits the printer, it'll take a little less than a month to get them in, and get them into stores.
I'll also be trimming the white edges around the pages down, but they will only take a day at most!
So, as a sign of good faith, I wanted to show you the cover of Issue 3, and let you know- yes it's really happening.
It's also really awesome.

Hello All,
Well it's about time to quietly update the website and blog.
We are still working on comics, and hope to have some new ones out as soon as we can, but when you're making comics from paycheck to paycheck hoping to scrap a little extra in between bills and savings to get a few pages done, you learn something.
It'll be worth the wait.
Sure, it can be expensive and when you really want to crank out comes left and write only putting out one a year can be frustrating, but when it's all said and done it'll be worth it.
Even if comics don't end up being my career, they will always be my hobby, a hobby I'll follow for myself and for you guys until buying just one more page would literally bankrupt us (then I'll wait another paycheck and see how that one looks :P )
In all seriousness, I'm sure a lot of you are waiting on some new comics, and hoping to see great things, but like me we'll all need to be patient.
The comics are coming, the stories are coming, and we won't be giving this up!
Turbulence Issue 3- On my computer, and as soon as I can afford to print some I will
Turbulence Issue 4- Being colored
Defects Issue 1- Being Colored by Jani (Colorist of Turbulence!)
Defects Issue 2- The amazing Ray Dillon is working on it, but it's between his great changes to work with Todd McFarlen, IDW, and IMAGE! I'm really happy for him, and he has been a big supporter of the comics.
Defects Issue 3- Line work finished!
Including, which I'm very pleased to announce - the Upcoming wildly well supporting book Womanthology will feature a one page add for Defects, revealing for the first time it's Issue 1 cover!
Next on my coming to do list, Amanda will soon be editing Issues 1 and 2 of Defects, along with issue 4 of Turbulence, and I'll begin lettering.
I'll also be writing Issues 5 of Turbulence and 4 of Defects soon.
In November I took part in NaNoWriMo and it was a blast, I finished just shy of 20,000/50,000 words. Sure I didn't make the harsh 50k mark, but it's the most I've ever written in a prose format, and I'm not sick of the story like my other prose attempts so I'll be sticking with it.
So for everybody out there that's supporting me, from my wife for motivating me to stick with it when I feel like I'll never have another completed book, to my family for their motivational words, and all my friends for constantly checking in- and even those odd ducklings who think 'Who was that one guy that used to work at Blizzard and made comics, what is he doing?'
You tell that duckling he's still making comics, and when you get to read them it'll be well worth it.
Well Worth it.

Yeah, thats a pretty nice cover, but let's take it one step further.
Since it isn't far off, I'd like to show you the first 2 pages of Issue 3, time to build a little hype, and give you something to look forward too!

Hello Everyone!

Tips for WRITING!
Setting dat' mood-
I have a set play list of music on my Pandora station that really gets me in the writing mood.
You know how some people like to eat then use a tooth pick?
Have a soda with dinner?
Have a smoke after getting Jiggy? (Yea you do)
We all have our habbits. Writing is much the same, even if you aren't feeling inspired, or 'in the creative mood' having a 'time to write trigger' can really get you moving!
Does it work?
Yes.
How do you know?
Because I didn't feel like writing this article, then I turned on my station and here it is!
Find or create 'your trigger' one of the biggest draw backs writers, or hell people in general, seem to have is that we need to be in a certain mood or have a certain idea to begin a project. So my suggestion is quit waiting for the rain to fall, the temperature to be perfect, for the cat to finally quit begging to be petted and for the stars to align and just do what you love.
Write. Write. Write.
Oh and incase your wondering my 'Writing Music' is Rob Dougan/Arcade Fire hybrid pandora station. Because they are awesome.

So what's happening with Overtime Comics?
Comic creation is still happening, fear not!
As you saw in Issue 2 of Turbulence, I asked the love of my life to marry me, and *spoiler alert*
She said yes!
Which means we have been all sorts of busy saving money/wedding planning which means comic creation was slowed down for a bit. (We bought a car too!)
But I'm happy to announce that Turbulence issue 3 is in the final stages.
Its all drawn, colored, and even lettered! We are just doing the final typo checks to make sure that it is at it's best and then it's time to get this printed!
Aside from Turbulence, Defects is also in the works!
Issue 1 is currently being colored by that dashing man known as Ramairo Ascencio. How dashing is he? This dashing.
That ladies and gentlemen, is what we in the business call dashing.
Now I know what you're thinking. We've already seen the cover of Turbulence Issue 3, and a picture of Ramiro doing his best Captain Morgan, there surely can't be more to the post!
BUT THERE IS.
I present to you, for the very first time online, the official first page of 'Defects' as colored by Ramiro Ascencio
